Jennifer Kingsland
Celtic harp, voiceJennifer Kingsland is a vocalist, Celtic harpist, and visual artist whose work blends storytelling, tradition, and atmosphere into immersive musical experiences. As the founding harpist and lead vocalist of Strings of Brigid, she brings a clear, expressive voice and a deep love of Celtic music to the group’s haunting arrangements. Through performing Chappell Kingsland’s cinematic, emotionally rich arrangements, Jennifer has found the musical lane she was meant to walk — one where she can sing, play, and tell stories of culture, spirituality, heartbreak, and history that are deeply dear to her.
A lifelong singer, Jen has performed with the Colorado Children’s Chorale, the Arvada Chorale, and various community ensembles. She is also the visual designer behind Strings of Brigid and Wild Beautiful Orchestra, creating all album art and promotional materials with a distinctive eye for texture and mood. Her artistic work, like her music, draws on themes of nature, transformation, and sacred stillness. |

Chappell KingslandArranger, guitar, voiceChappell Kingsland is a composer, arranger, pianist, and educator whose work bridges cultures, genres, and centuries. As co-founder and arranger for Strings of Brigid, he brings his deep classical training and global musical fluency to the world of Celtic folk, weaving harp, voice, and strings into lush, cinematic soundscapes. Every track on The Weaving is shaped by his signature style — harmonically rich, emotionally alive, and deeply human.
Dr. Kingsland teaches at the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music, where his classes explore aural skills, music theory, and arranging through a wide lens of world music, history, and popular culture. As a solo pianist and organist, his concerts blend classical and popular idioms into a unique personal synthesis. He draws inspiration equally from the European-American tradition and from diverse global sources including Balinese gamelan, Japanese koto, Bulgarian dance, and West African kora. He holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, and his fiery piano arrangements of rock and holiday favorites are available on all major streaming platforms. |

At its heart, Strings of Brigid is the duo of Jennifer Kingsland (harp and voice) and Chappell Kingsland (guitar, piano, and arranger). But the magic of the group extends far beyond the two of them. With each project and performance, Strings of Brigid has had the great privilege of working with a circle of gifted collaborators — from professional violinists and cellists to full orchestral ensembles.
The group is equally at home performing as a duet, a trio with their talented violinist son, or onstage with a full choir or orchestra. Their flexible format and original arrangements make them a natural fit for guest appearances and cross-genre collaborations. A choral partnership is currently in development — and Strings of Brigid is actively seeking new artistic allies. If you’re a conductor, arranger, or ensemble leader, they’d love to hear from you.
